The problem

Selling online is easy.
BIR compliance isn't.

Marketplaces don't invoice for you

Shopee and other platforms don't issue sales invoices to your buyers. You're responsible for every invoice.

Mistakes are expensive

Missing invoices can mean BIR penalties of up to ₱50,000 per violation.

The rules keep changing

RR 11-2026, RMC 77-2024, RA 11976… tracking every BIR issuance on invoicing is a full-time job. Most sellers can't keep up.

How Tally works

Four steps. That's it.

STEP 1

Upload

Export your orders from your store and drop the CSV into Tally.

STEP 2

AI reads your orders

Tally applies the right BIR rule to every transaction.

STEP 3

Generate e-invoices

BIR-compliant digital invoices, emailed to your customers.

STEP 4

FAQ

Quick answers

Tally is an AI-powered invoicing platform that helps businesses create, send, and manage digital invoices while preparing for BIR Electronic Invoicing requirements. It's built to be the easiest way to create compliant invoices.
EIS stands for the Electronic Invoicing/Receipting and Sales Reporting System. For Large Taxpayers and covered businesses, EIS is more than issuing invoices digitally — businesses must also generate structured invoice data and prepare electronic sales reports for submission to the BIR.
No. Anyone who needs digital invoicing can use Tally — freelancers, professionals, SMEs, online sellers, ecommerce businesses, and large companies. Large Taxpayers can also use it to prepare for BIR EIS compliance.
Yes. Tally supports businesses selling through ecommerce websites, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and other online channels.
Yes. Supported integrations include ERPs, billing systems, accounting software, and internal platforms. Transaction data can be passed into Tally via APIs to automatically generate compliant electronic invoices — including high-volume, enterprise-scale configurations.
No. Tally can be used independently — tax filing and invoicing are separate products, and each works without the other.
No. Marketplaces like Shopee don't generate or issue sales invoices to buyers for you. As the seller, you're responsible for issuing your own invoices — that's exactly what Tally handles.
For any sale above ₱500 — and for any amount if the buyer asks. For smaller sales, one combined end-of-day invoice covers them if the day's total reaches ₱500. VAT-registered? Every sale needs an invoice. Tally applies the right rule automatically.
A digital invoice generated by a system and sent to your buyer electronically. A photo or scan of a paper invoice doesn't count — and neither does a POS-printed receipt.
Under BIR Revenue Regulations No. 11-2025, micro-taxpayers (gross sales below ₱3 million) are exempt from the e-invoicing mandate. Ask Tally in the chat to walk through whether you qualify — and what's still worth doing anyway.
Penalties can reach ₱50,000 per violation. The safest habit: issue an invoice for every sale whether or not the buyer asks, and monitor pending e-invoice requests in your Seller Center. Tally does both for you.
Within three (3) calendar days of the transaction — transmitted to the BIR Electronic Invoicing System as digitally signed, compliant JSON. Tally signs and queues every invoice on day zero, and archives each one with its BIR validation response for up to 10 years.
Yes — as long as the system holds an Electronic Invoicing System certification from the BIR. That certification is what makes your digital invoices officially accepted.
